Steve and his wife Barbara moved to The Colony in September 2014. Steve grew up in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and Barbara is originally from Staunton, Virginia. They attended Ambassador University in the mid-90’s and met each other there as part of an outreach entertainment group. They were married in 1999.
Later that year, they moved to Roanoke, Virginia and served in their church worship team, advisory council, and women’s ministry. In 2003 they moved to Nashville, Tennessee where they lived 11 years and served on the pastoral team and worship team.
In June 2010 Steve and Barbara went on their first mission trip to Mexico with Crossing Borders and immediately found a passion for missions. They now go to Mexico twice each year to share God’s love and blessings with ministry partners and friends there. Steve and Barbara both serve on the Crossing Borders board. Steve serves as the chaplain each trip and Barbara is the worship leader. After going on several mission trips Steve found a growing call to local ministry and on Easter Sunday 2013 was ordained as an associate pastor for Good News Fellowship and New Hope Fellowship in middle Tennessee.
The Holy Spirit continued increasing his call to pastoral ministry, and in the spring of 2014 made it clear He wanted them both to serve with the people at Hope Community Fellowship in The Colony. Steve and Barbara are excited about serving with their new family and connecting with the North Dallas community.
